President / Director – Chipo Mathis
Bio:
Coach Chipo Mathis is a Registered Nurse, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Christian Speaker, and Trauma Resilience and Relationship Life Coach dedicated to guiding individuals—particularly women affected by childhood trauma, domestic violence, and crisis experiences, toward healing, restoration, and personal authentic growth.
Coach Chipo is a Trauma Scholar currently pursuing a Doctorate in Traumatology. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Crisis Counseling and a Master of Arts in Human Services and traumatology. With a background in healthcare, coaching, crisis response, psychological first aid, and trauma recovery, she integrates evidence-based tools, strategies and faith-based principles to help women overcome adversity and reclaim their God-given identity.
As a childhood trauma survivor, Chipo’s personal journey fuels her commitment to holistic trauma-informed care. Committed to collaboration and community impact, Chipo seeks to partner with organizations and professionals who share a vision for healing, empowerment, and lasting transformation. Through compassionate support, education, and advocacy, she aims to equip women with the tools to heal, grow, and thrive.
Her speaking engagements and coaching programs are crafted to address sensitive topics such as childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and natural disasters, offering practical steps for healing, recovery and spiritual growth.
In addition to her professional and academic achievements, Chipo is the author of In the Palm of His Hands: From Childhood Trauma to Single Motherhood, a memoir that chronicles her own journey of overcoming adversity. Through her writing, speaking, and coaching, she has inspired countless women to embrace God’s grace and find joy and peace in their lives.
Secretary – Jennifer Frey
Bio:
Jennifer is a dedicated entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and community advocate with a passion for supporting individuals affected by trauma. As a mother of five, she understands the importance of resilience, healing, and empowerment.
She owns and operates three businesses while also serving as the director of a nonprofit food pantry, ensuring that families in need have access to essential resources. Additionally, she co-leads a teen youth group, mentoring and guiding young individuals through life’s challenges.
Her experience in leadership, community outreach, and business management equips her with the skills to contribute meaningfully to the board, helping to drive impactful initiatives for those affected by trauma.
Treasure – Cassie Adkins
Bio:
Casie is a business Consultant, Leadership Coach, & Addiction Specialist
Cassie Adkins is a seasoned business consultant, leadership coach, and nationally recognized addictions therapist with a passion for helping individuals and organizations navigate complex transitions. With extensive experience in leadership development, conflict resolution, and process standardization, she has guided executives through high-stakes mergers and acquisitions, ensuring strong leadership alignment and team cohesion.
Beyond her corporate work, Cassie is deeply committed to addiction education and recovery advocacy. She has worked extensively in the mental health and addiction space, providing therapy, training, and public education to support individuals struggling with substance use and the families and professionals who serve them. She frequently speaks on addiction awareness, prevention, and intervention, equipping communities with the knowledge to foster meaningful change.
As a board member, Cassie brings a unique blend of strategic insight and human-centered leadership, helping organizations strengthen their impact through effective governance, community engagement, and sustainable program development. She is dedicated to empowering individuals, businesses, and communities with the tools to thrive.
