Speaker Bio: Dr. Chipo Mathis
Christian Speaker | Trauma Scholar | Women's Healing Advocate |
Founder of Invicta International

Dr. Chipo Mathis is a Christian speaker, trauma scholar, Registered Nurse, Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTSI), relationship and transformation life coach, author, and Founder of Invicta International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women move from trauma to triumph through faith-centered, trauma-informed support, education, advocacy, and coaching.
As a childhood trauma survivor, Dr. Chipo understands firsthand the challenges of overcoming adversity and the courage required to pursue healing. Triumphing over personal hardship, she now dedicates her life to helping women recognize that their past does not define them and that healing, restoration, and hope are possible.
With an extensive background in healthcare, trauma recovery, crisis response, coaching, counseling, and women’s advocacy, Dr. Chipo is passionate about supporting women who are navigating the effects of childhood trauma, domestic violence, relational wounds, life transitions, and other adverse experiences. Her mission is to help women reconcile past hurts with God’s truth, strengthen resilience, embrace their identity in Christ, and move forward with confidence, purpose, and hope.
Dr. Chipo holds a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Traumatology, a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a Crisis Response and Trauma Cognate, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Crisis and Trauma Response focus. Her doctoral research explored the lived experiences of occupational stress and resilience among emergency department nurses, contributing to the growing body of knowledge on trauma, resilience, and recovery.
Through her speaking engagements, retreats, workshops, coaching programs, and educational initiatives, Dr. Chipo combines evidence-based trauma principles with biblical truth to create transformative experiences that inspire healing and personal growth. Her presentations are known for their authenticity, compassion, practical application, and ability to connect deeply with audiences seeking encouragement and transformation.
Looking back on her own journey, Dr. Chipo often shares that she continues to heal one depth at a time. She has come a long way from being the scared little girl, the angry teenager, the frustrated young mother, and the overwhelmed professional she once was. Through God’s grace, faith, forgiveness, and the courage to engage in the healing process, she has experienced profound transformation and continues to grow every day.
Today, she is committed to helping women discover that they are not defined by what happened to them, but by who God created them to be. Through Invicta International, she creates spaces where women can heal, grow, flourish, and embrace their God-given identity while building lives marked by resilience, freedom, purpose, and hope.
Her message is simple yet powerful: Healing is possible. Hope is alive. And transformation happens one step, one choice, and one day at a time.
